All is as quiet as can be on the Sawyer farm right now. The crops have been harvested and equipment cleaned and stored for the winter. The cows are home from a summer of grazing and calving season has yet to begin.
But there is no rest for the weary. We are putting the finishing touches on our cattle facilities to prepare for the new calves. With recent below-freezing temperatures, we have also had to pay special attention to our animals’ water supply, breaking ice when necessary.
